Engr. Dr. Jonas Nnaemeka ONAH joined ACE-SPED in the fall of 2020 as a lecturer. He obtained his B.Eng(2010), M.Eng(2015) and Ph.D(2019) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. His area of specialization is Power Systems and High Voltage Engineering. In the 49th convocation ceremony of University of Nigeria, Engr. Dr. Onah made a CGPA of 4.90 in the doctorate degree category. Consequently, he was shortlisted to contest for best graduating student. The performance of his colleague from Electronic Engineering surpassed his performance based on other criteria and emerged as the over all best in the entire University. It is on record that Engr. Dr. Onah is one of the students to have obtained his Ph.D with the shortest duration in the department of Electrical Engineering, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Engr. Dr. Onah has a flair for research and has published extensively in both local and reputable International Journals. He has also attended and presented papers in both local and international conferences. His current research topic "beyond saddle node bifurcation point of a power system" has attracted specialist's interest from home and abroad. Engr. Dr. Onah. is a stakeholder in oil and gas industry of Federal Republic of Nigeria. In the fall of year 2023,Engr. Dr. Onah joined Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta State as permanent lecturer. He carries out so many responsibilities such as advisor to undergraduate students, teaching and supervision. He is currently the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Examination Officer of the department. He is blessed with a wife and children.
