Design considerations for stand alone and grid-tied wind generator farms. Mini-grid installation, choice of location for PV plant, site survey, soil analysis, climate conditions of the area-temperature, humidity, rainfall, sunshine hours, wind velocity; shadowing, feed-in metering, O&M, instrumentation.
